How do I set up a Traineeship or Apprenticeship?

 

Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services provides a free service that begins with a personal visit to your workplace to discuss the Australian Apprenticeships program and to complete the Training Contract to commence a traineeship and/or apprenticeship.

Our Industry Consultant will provide expert advice on training packages, choosing a Registered Training Organisation to deliver training and the financial support available to you and your trainee or apprentice.  

The Training Contract has been signed ……. what happens next?

Once the Training Contract has been registered, your trainee or apprentice is now ready to commence their training with a Registered Training Organisation.

Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services will write to you to confirm that the Training Contract has been registered. We will also advise employers and Trainees or Apprentices (where applicable) in writing of their financial iincentives eligibility and how to claim their payments.

Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services will continue to support you.  We will:

  • keep you informed when incentive payments are due
  • provide the claim forms and on going reminders for any outstanding payments
  • assist you to complete incentive claim forms and other necessary paperwork
  • contact you to assist and provide support to employees to help them successfully complete their traineeship or apprenticeship
  • provide information updates on new initiatives to the Traineeship and Apprenticeship Program
  • provide you with free access to your records online
