Did you know that you can be employed on a full-time or part-time basis and still be eligible to receive a Low Income Health Care Card from Centrelink.

If you have a current concession or Health Care Card, you will significantly benefit with the costs of enrolment fees charged by your Training Provider – refer below:

There are 2 components of training costs for apprentices/ trainees:

1. The Cost of Tution:

In Victoria the STATE GOVERNMENT provides funding to the Training Provider for the training for eligible Apprentices or Trainees.

2. Enrolment fees for government funded training:

All training providers are required to charge for up to 640 contact hours per annum for enrolment fees. Student services and amenity fees may also be charged.
