Experiencing delays in commencing your Schooling for your Apprenticeship

When commencing an Apprenticeship, it is possible that you may experience delays in commencing your Trade Schooling. If you are experiencing delays of greater than 6 months, you should contact Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services.

I am being harassed or discriminated against

Harassment or discrimination is wrong, often illegal, and you don't have to put up with it. The best thing you can do is talk to someone about it. Below are some organisations that could assist you.

I am not happy with my training

If you have any questions regarding your wages or employment conditions, you should contact;

I want to terminate my training contract

Mutual Consent only applies to apprenticeships and describes any agreement made by an apprentice and their employer as part of an apprenticeship training contract. The agreement may be to vary, extend or cancel their existing contract. Contact Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services.

I would like information on Tools For Your Trade Payment

Tools For Your Trade Payment is available to Apprentices who commence on or after 1 January 2010 who are undertaking a Certificate III or IV qualification leading to a skill shortage trade occupation.

I would like information on Support for Adult Australian Apprentices payment

Support for Adult Australian Apprentices payment is for Apprentices aged 25 years and over who have commenced a Certificate III OR IV qualification leading to a skill shortage trade occupation .

Living Away from Home Allowance is available to Apprentices and Trainees who move away from their family or legal guardian’s home to take up a Traineeship or Apprenticeship.

I would like information on the Skills Victoria Apprentice Trade Bonus payment

$250 is paid after traditional apprentices complete 6 months of their apprenticeship and a further $250 is paid after the completion of 12 months.
